New residence

Boulder, Colorado

House designed by Gettliffe Architecture and built by Gettliffe Construction in a design/build setting with Mall Sleightholm as construction manager. New residence reused both site and materials from a previous residence on the same city lot. Environmentally conscious execution from schematic design to occupancy incorporated the minimization and recycling of construction waste, small overall footprint, radiant in-floor heat system, dense pack cellulose insulation (recycled newsprint), low VOC interior finishes, rough-in for solar panels and fiber cement panel exterior cladding.
